else was busying themselves doing what everybody else generally does, whatever that may be, From Colors Beyond found themselves in the studio, laying down what would become the collection of songs that you now hold in your hand (or store on your computer or whatever)...a collection we delivered into Earth ourselves. While these songs were recorded in a few weekend and late night sessions in the spring of 2014, they have been marinating, gestating—some for as long as seven years. It’s nice to finally have them in a somewhat more tangible and concrete, somewhat less ethereal, form—not buzzing into our ears like a carnival of flies late in the night.

Meanwhile, while you’re busy doing whatever you may be doing, most likely lazily skimming the awkwardly phrased sentences with convoluted meanings contained herein, we, From Colors Beyond, are already busy at work planning, scheming, dreaming of our next move. While reluctant to call this a debut album or EP, or whatever you may wish to call it (as life experience and research has suggested there being no certainty in life, especially in this uncertain modern world), hopefully this can stand a testament to a way that we were at a few times…not at a single moment, but during some ill-defined period that has already passed us by.

Maybe there will be more music. Maybe there will be more to come. The future is unwritten. Don’t hold your breath. In the meantime, listen to the songs that are here…already artifacts…and enjoy them. And whatever you do, don’t drift away into your teal blues.
