It is almost impossible to tell a story without including some fundamental facts and characters.

The “Rosa Arcana” project starts to take shape at the beginning of 1992, on an idea of Marcelo Mafut and Gustavo Belloti.

The first rehearsals were performed with Javier Picerno and Sebastián Ortega, who collaborated till the joining of Anibal Obit and Gustavo Cenarini.Weeks later they recorded a demo and started to perform in the Under circuit, TV channels and specialized magazines.

Upon return from their tour along the Atlantic Coast during the summer of 1993/94, they had to change their name ending finally with “Diosa Arcana” (Arcana Goddess)Shortly after, Gustavo Canarini and Anibal Obit decided to withdraw, being replaced by Javier Mafut and Fernando Presalli, with whom they continued their presentations and recorded new demos.

About the middle of 1996, M.Mafut presents a new project for a conceptual record, “ Conciencia de un destino”( Conscience of a destiny), which commences to be recorded months later in the “La Fábrica Records” studio with A.Obit on bass and Cynthia Robert in choirs.

Something notable was that the theme “ Héroes” ( Heros) was not included in the play in spite of being the inspirational factor of it.

Musimundo commercialized this work within the country and “El viajero inmóvil” (The motionless traveler) abroad, obtaining very good criticism.

The record was presented during 1998/99 with the participation of choirs singers Cynthia Robert and Camila Gastaldi.

One of these concerts was recorded life by Manuel Pinto, Engineer in charge of the sound and great collaborator of the group.

In 2006 they resumed another project of M.Mafut, “Oscuros caminos hacia la luz” ( Dark roads towards the light), with the participation of Cynthi Turner and Fernando Umido in choirs.This new conceptual record was made in the studios of “La Fábrica records”, “La Cúpula”, “La Budinera pop”, “El Cubo” and “Genoma Mastering”, being finished at the end of 2009.

Presently “Diosa Arcana” is integrated by M.Mafut, ( guitar and voice), Gustavo Canarini (drums), Anibal Obit ( Bass and choirs) and Pablo Regis ( Keyboard and choirs)

Conciencia de un destino.

''Inexplicablemente la especie anhela una indecorosa desaparición, contaminando el deambular de nuestras vidas, absorbiendo experiencias que hacen mutar nuestros nobles ideales en recuerdos que solo aparecen como adormecida conciencia, en situaciones extremas de las cuales la resignación y la conformidad se alimentan. Evitar ese designio es el verdadero desafio''.

Es un disco conceptual, cuya temática nos presenta distintas situaciones extremas que atraviesa el hombre durante su vida, Estas son expuestas por su conciencia en forma critica durante el desarrollo de los siete temas que componen la obra.
