Cruising the dead end streets and dilapidated bars of the East Bay, five local misfits connected in some dingy dive. With bloodshot eyes and a midnight toast, The East Bay Chasers emerged. After surviving the massive hang over from the Nineties, it was time to plug in the amps and turn up the volume. The East Bay Chasers play slick classic 80's style street punk, with a new millenium feel. It's loud and in your face. Imagine the Buzzcocks meet The Adolecents, with some rock and roll riffage thrown in. Davey Havok from A.F.I. put it best saying, "sounds like a punk rock Jane's Addiction!" heiko from One Man Army agreed with Davey nodding approval. It's no surprise that the East Bay Chasers within their first show were sharing the stage with their favorite bands. From getting drunk and playing insane punk shows with, The Bodies, The Working Stiffs, and The Oozzies, to punk rock and roll shows with The Stitches, The Smut Peddlers, and even banging heads with Testament. The Chasers proved they could cross many musical territories and remain unscathed. Within their first year the band signed to Industrial Strength Records. They laid out their first 45 in January 2001, now their first full length is now available. The East Bay Chasers like to play small dives and larger clubs alike. The band has established a reputation for their fiery live sets and guarantee to hit hard and fast!!! The band has a powerhouse line up featuring former members of bad Example, Distress, The Grim, Pink Sugar, The Wallflowers and Ovaltine (to name a few). Face it man, The East Bay Chasers are locked, loaded and ready for action. See ya at the show!

The self titled release is their first full length album on CD only. Running time for 10 songs is approximately 30 minutes. The last track (track 10) was produced by East Bay Ray of Dead Kennedys fame.
