(punk) Odpad - Utok - 2005, FLAC (image+.cue), lossless

In the late 1992 and early 1993 the band called “Vrakove Srotovisko” is formed in the small town of Vrutky (Martin district) in Slovak republic. Odpad was formed from this band in late ’94, beginning of ’95. The band went through many membership changes during their existence over the past 15 years. The first period of Odpad consisted of 4 members: Chlasto – guitar, vocals; Sero – guitar, vocals; Joky – bass; Ruto – drums. They recorded three songs on “Garazova kvalita” (Garage quality) in 1995 in their rehearsal room and also “Prve demo” (The first demo) in 1996. The band with these members lasted till 1997. The second team up (Chlasto – guitar, vocals; Fesak – guitar, vocals; Saly – bass, vocals; Sunka – drums, vocals) recorded “Demac” (Demo) in 1999 in rehearsal room of the band “Nudzovy vchod” (Emergency enter). The same songs were recorded again as a part of Odpad’s first album “Chodte s tym prec” (Get out with all that!) in the studio “Power sound” in Lucenec/Slovakia. The album was recorded in 2000, financed only from savings of the band members. The song “Bordel” (Mess) from this album appeared on punk compilation “Punk made in Slovakia 3”. In 2001 Fesak leaves the band. Odpad carries on with 3 members until 2002, when drummer Sunka also leaves. After short time he is replaced by Albert. In 2003 the group (Wlasta/Chlasto – guitar, vocals; Rada/Saly – bass, vocals; Albert – drums, screams) goes on to record two songs: “Attack!” and “Punk ‘n’ Oi united” in studio “Kobka” in Martin/Slovakia. Both songs appeared on compilations “Street kids 2” and “Povazsky underground”. In 2002 they recorded demo “Vrutocka 12” (named after famous “good beer” drinking route, practiced by band members and their friends in local pubs of town Vrutky). The record was launched at “Kanal party 5” by “Soty zo zemezluc”. This demo was the first step to their second album “Utok” (Attack/Strike) recorded again in studio “Kobka” in 2004. Album was produced and financed in 2005 by band members with help of “Hirax records”. In 2005 the song “Fanatik” from this album appeared on Czechoslovak compilation “Driving 2 hell”. On another compilation “Punk rock made in Slovakia 5” (2006) appeared song “!?Punk?!”. Video to song “Attack!” appeared on DVD compilation “Brutal scene 1”. In the beginning of 2006 the band recorded live album simply called “Odpad live”. The material used was recorded at the launch party of the new album from band “Prpad Evy Burdovej”. In 2006 another song (“SKA outro”) from album “Utok” is chosen for compilation “Slovensky SKA vyber” (The best of Slovak ska). At the moment the band is working on their third album and on the video for song “!?Punk?!”. Throughout their existence Odpad played (and plays) underground concerts in Czech republic, Poland and Slovakia.
