Founded in 2008, EIEN is a metal band from Athens, Greece. Raw and melodic vocals, somber guitar work and destructive drums establish EIEN’S sound. Always seeking their own musical identity.
In early 2009 the band worked hard in the studio to release their debut album ‘’Vacant Expressions’’.
Two years later, the band released their second self-financed album entitled ‘’Closure‘’ recorded at the Artracks Studios and mastered by Alan Douches at WWSM Studios.
After playing a number of shows and local festivals EIEN decided that it was time to move on. Leaders management group believed in their passion for metal music and offered them a contract joining Artracks Studios.
‘’The Sickening‘’ EP, came to life in the beginning of year 2014, mixed and mastered at the legendary Fredman Studios by Fredrik Nordstrom.
The reviews were impressive and earned EIEN a spot on Metal Hammer Greece’s ‘’Suggestion of the month‘’ column, describing their three track EP as a ‘’Sing Along Heavy Metal Anthems‘’.
Shortly following, EIEN embarked on an extended Greek tour featuring great local bands of the time. Suddenly, after many unfortunate events, the band decided to take a break since the whole situation at that time in Greece caused many setbacks.
But, that was not the end.
It was just the beginning for a fresh new start. So, the founding members together with their band mates and a great team of sound engineers recorded and produced the album ‘’IN THIS GAME‘’ in 2019.
