Lasse Marhaug хорошо известен на мировой экспериментальной сцене. Начав свою артистическую карьеру в начале 90-х, к сегодняшнему дню он успел зарекомендовать себя самым знаменитым и производительным noise/electronic/improv музыкантом Норвегии. Кроме того, что Лассе много выступает и записывается сольно, он - движущая сила супер-нойз дуета Jazkamer, а также (в той или иной ипостаси) является участником таких разнообразных проектов как DEL, Origami Replika, Sleazy Listeners, Tectile Hazard и т.д. Его интересы в экспериментальной музыке достаточно широки: от free jazz и авангардного рока, живые electronic improvisations к noise, а также drones, ambient и field recordings. Отдельного упоминания стоит увлечение Лассе графическим дизайном, рисунком, коллажами и фотографией. Невозможно также не упомянуть, что Lasse активно экспериментирует и сотрудничает с огромным количеством музыкантов самых разных направлений и жанров. Среди прочих, это настоящие звезды: Merzbow, Aube, Fe-Mail, Maja S. Ratkje, Spunk, Kevin Drumm, Francisco Lopez, Government Alpha, Paal Nilssen-Love, Mats Gusstaffson, Frode Gjerstad, Anla Courtis, Ronnie Sundin, Helge Sten, Carlos Giffoni и другие.
