(RU) Проект был основан в 2007 году в Донецке с целью экспериментирования над звучанием. Вдохновляясь такими корифеями мировой сцены, как Merzbow, Aube, Maurizio Bianchi, Marco Corbelli, Raison d'Etre и Bad Sector, Willy Stamati прошел путь от дарквэйва и неоклассики до постиндастриала и нойза и создал более 100 альбомов в разных стилях.
Основной тематикой творчества проекта является жизнь в ее низших проявлениях, от худших человеческих качеств до пороков развития. Мрачная атмосфера композиций навеивает мысли об обреченности, безысходности и осознании собственной ничтожности. Главные же качества, которые отличают Willy Stamati от множества подобных ему проектов - это тщательный отбор музыкального материала, стилевое и жанровое разнообразие, собственное неповторимое звучание и серьезный интеллектуальный подход к созданию музыки. Проект за достаточно короткий срок своего существования успел пройти длинный путь стилевого экспериментирования, выпустить огромное количество оригинального музыкального материала и заработать статус одного из наиболее загадочных проектов современной индустриальной сцены.
Эксперимент, однако, упомянутым не ограничивается: предпринимаются попытки экспериментировать не только со звуком, но и с жанром - так появляются несколько неоклассических альбомов, объединенных в проекте Ursae Rigor.
(EN) WILLY STAMATI is a post-industrial / noise one-man project from Donetsk. It was established in 2007. The basic aim was sound experiments. Inspired by such luminaries as Merzbow, Aube, Maurizio Bianchi, Marco Corbelli, Raison d'Etre and Bad Sector, Willy Stamati worked his way up from darkwave and neoclassics to post-industrial and noise and created more than 100 albums in different styles. The main topic of his music is life in its lowest display, from worst human features to faults of development; the gloomy atmosphere of his music call thoughts about doom, despair and realization of self-insignificance. The main features differing Willy Stamati from similar projects are careful selection of musical material, variety of genres and styles, its original sound and serious intelligent approach to music creation.
