This was Nosferatu's 4th single. Recorded and mixed at The House In The Woods Studio, Bletchingley, Surrey in January 1993, it was released as a 3 track 12" single and as a 4 track compact disc.
Two firsts for the band with this one. Their first release on compact disc and their first national chart position.

Rise is still Nosferatu's Best Selling release clocking in over 22,000 units sold in the USA, Germany & UK. It was promoted by a lengthy UK Tour which took in venues from Exeter to Edinburgh. Released on Vinyl, CD & cassette, the 12 songs on this album proved how good Nosferatu were in the studio. This was the first time they had used Doc Milton as Engineer and Co-Producer and indeed the first time they had recorded at the Prestigious Residential Surrey studio "House In The Woods"

This was Nosferatu's second studio album and the first with Niall Murphy on Vocals.
The instrumental into track "Requiem" was played on BBC's Radio One for five successive evenings, helping the album to reach Number 14 in the UK Independent Charts in November 1994.
Songs such as "Farewell My Little Earth", "Grave Desires" and the Independent Hit Single "Savage Kiss" gave the band a more melodical direction.
As well as appearing on CD, this album appeared on double vinyl and as limited edition cassette containing 6 songs. The cassette was given away free at selected venues on The Prophecy Tour.
The US Release also contained and extra song "Sucker For Love", which did not appear on the European Pressings

A great album with a diverse selection of songs. The hard edged songs such as "Ravage" & "Graveyard Shift", the creepy instrumental intro of "Eye Of The Watcher" and the moody timeless "Into The Night".

"Reflections Through A Darker Glass" is Nosferatu's seventh album release and first live album.
It contains over 70 minutes of live performances from 1991 to 1999. Includes rarities such as Niall Murphy singing "Inside the Devil," the previously unreleased "Happy Ending" with Louis DeWray on vocals from 1991, and Dominic LaVey on "Witching Hour" from the 1999 Wave Gothik Treffen festival in Leipzig Germany.
