The Polyphonic spree (Многозвучное веселье)- «люди в белых ночнушках». Образованная в 2000 году, в городе Даллас, штат Техас, это единственная настолько многолюдная группа в своем роде. Точное количество участников неизвестно. Основой коллектива послужила группа Tripping Daisy: после смерти гитариста Tripping Daisy от передозировки наркотиков, оставшиеся участники, во главе с Тимом ДеЛафтером (Tim DeLaughter), решили собрать коллектив-оркестр, на тот момент в нем насчитывалось более 20 человек.
Стиль можно определить как Indie. Множество людей в бесформенных балахонах, с тромбонами, флейтами, французскими рожками и пр. смотрятся очень эффектно. Что касается музыки, редко где можно услышать столько торжественного коллективного счастья. Сами The Polyphonic Spree называют себя «хоровой симфонической поп-группой».

This is just the Christmas Carol theatrical performance and the Christmas set. A different recording of the main show (including the Christmas set but not the Christmas Carol performance) has already been seeded.

I typically don't normalize and compress, but this had quite a range, being as some of it was spoken theatre stuff, and some of it was full Spree onslaught!
There were some microphone problems and drop outs throughout the Christmas Carol performance. Not my mics, the performers mics, especially Mrs. Claus.
Track splits within the theatre part are somewhat arbitrary, as are the titles.
My disclaimer: I have no disclaimer. I was just fortunate to be there and be allowed to tape. So do with this what you will. However, the band will probably be pissed if you try to sell this recording.
