"Gothic-romantic art and literature nowadays is nearly over. You can always see the same themes. I get bored. If you think about a gothic illustration, it's sure you will think about a gothic girl who cry by the sea in a cloudy day, maybe a couple of vamps or a cloudy cemetery and bla bla bla..., ever the same old story. The repetition is killing the gothic and romantic spirit.
If gothic aesthetic and culture want to survive, then the artists have to start a pursuit of new themes, images, styles, models or the old ones through different standpoint."
This new album tries to start a quest of new themes. Tales for bad girls is a compilation of stories about romantic and gothic people nowadays. Stories about real people, telling with the magic touch the real life. You can find parodies of the classic gothic o romantic culture, for example, the ballad The lovers, which it's the typical romantic story by the see with the typical magic factor. Why did we do that? Because it's interesting that you notice this old world in contrast to the real world of the rest of songs. About the music: with Tales for bad girl we tried to develop our style and add new touches.
