#777Kenny G (Кенни Джи, он же Кеннет, он же Иннокентий Горелик, одессит по происхождению) играл на саксофоне еще в школьной группе.
В 17 лет он создал свою первую профессиональную работу, подыгрывая Барри Уайту (Barry White) на концерте в Сиэтле. Учась в университете в Вашингтоне, он одновременно играл с Джоном Матиасом, The Spinners, Liberace. После университета Кеннет вошел в команду Jeff Lorber Fusion, где и был открыт Arista Records.
Подписав контракт, в 1982 году он выпустил свой первый сольный альбом, назвав его просто «Kenny G». За ним последовали: "G-Force", "Gravity", "Duotones" - этот альбом превратил его в мега-звезду.
В 1988 его «Silhouette» вошел в top-10 поп-чартов, за ним следовали "Kenny G Live" (1989), "Breathless" (самый продаваемый инструментальный альбом в истории, ставший платиновым 15 раз – 1994), "Miracles: The Holiday Album" (самый продаваемый рождественский альбом в истории, разошедшийся тиражом более 8 миллионов экземпляров - 1994), Moment (1996) и Greatest Hits (1997).
