Possibly the DBQ's most famous album, this contains Take Five, the most famous jazz track of that period. These experiments in different time signatures are what Dave Brubeck is most remembered for. Notes
This album was inspired by a Brubeck family visit to DisneyLand. For many years the Quartet had played various Disney tunes at live performances. At the theme park it suddenly struck Brubeck that he should gather them together into a theme album. It was recorded on 29-30 June 1957.
