Jennifer-Yvette Holliday (born October 19, 1960, Riverside, Texas) is an American singer and Tony Award-winning actress. She started her career on Broadway in musicals such as Dreamgirls, and later became a successful recording artist. She is best known for her debut single, the Dreamgirls showstopper and Grammy Award-winning rhythm and blues/pop hit, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going".

The Best of Jennifer Holliday: The Millennium Collection gathers highlights from the Tony Award-winning singer/actress, including "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" and "I Am Changing" from the original cast album of Dreamgirls, the musical that made her a star. "This Game of Love," "Just Let Me Wait," "No Frills Love," and "New at It" are some of the other standout tracks from this compilation, which isn't quite as comprehensive as Geffen's The Best of Jennifer Holliday but is nevertheless a concise, enjoyable overview of some of her definitive moments.
