It's been since February 2004 when Dekoy's first full-length, ''Redux -
heartwerk'' was released, but now they return with 'haunted' - a
thirteen chapter thread of tracks that unravel a story with mercurial,
thoughtful music and danceable beats. 'haunted' travels a soundscape of
memory and foresight with Dekoy's obvious respect and regard to lyric
and composition, and how the two fit.
Conceptually, 'haunted' deals with issues of abandonment, loss, true
regret and the ways inwhich these things so heavily factor into and
affect the course of our lives, regardless of whether we choose to deal
with them. The core idea being to empower oneself to constantly strive
for self-improvement and emotional clarity. Or maybe it's just a
bittersweet story of circumstance with no "happy ending". Or just dance
