About 9Electric (in English)

Attention ladies in the metal community; here is a band that will get you up and dancing around. This LA based band includes THUNDERWOOD (vocals), MIKEY LOPEZ (guitar), CASEYDC (root note), and MICAH ELECTRIC (drums and programming). They are not your typical heavy metal band; they incorporate some electronics and make it work for them. Their music is very danceable, but still heavy metal. They are able to mix the true aspects of metal, being dark, and heavy, but also bring in some rhythm that make your body move. They open their album THE DAMAGED ONES with the album title song, it is upbeat yet dark, and the song introduces the feel for the rest of the album. The vocals of THUNDERWOOD sync with the music they have created completely. NEW GOD brings in more electronics and shows the skills of these guys. 9ELECTRIC slows down the tone a bit with BEAUTIFUL, a song about a love that is so beautiful that he can’t look away. For the more heavy metal fans out there, LIES is a song for you, it is dark and heavy (still have that electronic feel). TAKE IT AWAY brings out the guitar styling of MIKEY LOPEZ, MICAH ELECTRIC compliments the guitar with his programming. Throughout the album CASEYDC brings in the root note magically, he has a good ear for music and knows what works for the rest of the band. 9ELECTRIC concludes the album with I DIE, another heavier song, bringing out the guitar and drums in a whole in light for them. This album and band are different, but they have created something that is so unique that it deserves a listen to.
