An Isle Ate Her is a mathcore/grind band from Atlanta, GA. Formerly known as Feeding the Foxes, they embarked on two tours within their life as a band. The band then realized their potential for writing more complex and cohesive material, and changed the name in order to support the new music more suitably. An Isle Ate Her released Desiderium EP on June 29th, 2010, and they are currently writing new material for a full-length, in conjunction with previous re-recorded/re-written material.

“In a nutshell, ‘Desiderium’ is best described as aesthetically vile. It is a rusty blade of ill will and disease that destroys the conscience and infects the soul. It is a vehicle for madness and sublime agony that can only end in violence or suicide. It is the beginning of the mind’s undoing, and the end of its ordered existence. As the preceding account suggests, drawing comparisons to An Isle Ate Her (or the album itself) is as difficult as it is pointless. This is particularly true of the longer tracks, which typically delve into progressive sensibilities between wanton acts of aural sodomy. But despite the ideological shift that precedes its second half, ‘Desiderium’ provides more thrills-per-minute than a piñata filled with mud wasps. Whip out the sticks and bring the pain. 8.5/10”
