        |       | alive and this release is a perfect example   |       |

        |       | Fruits of his recent batch are in the         |       |
        |       | forward-thinking, next level business that is |       |
        |       | found on “In The End”, his first album in six |       |
        |       | years. Building on the darker aspects of his  |       |
        |       | previous productions, Polar has fattened up   |       |
        |       | his sound, adding in some newer flavours and  |       |
        |       | transforming known formulas into entirely new |       |
        |       | experiences, ultimately giving the fans what  |       |
        |       | they didn’t know that they always needed.     |       |
        |       | Take “Another Time”, for example: tracks like |       |
        |       | this woo you in with an offbeat sample that   |       |
        |       | leads you astray once the beat kicks in – not |       |
        |       | once, but twice! This is also one of a few    |       |
        |       | tracks that brings in some jazzy elements     |       |
        |       | into the mix; “I Don’t Remember” twists some  |       |
        |       | samples, adding a bit of the jazz with the    |       |
        |       | funky breaks and a host of found bleeps.      |       |
        |       | “Static” is one of two down-tempo tracks on   |       |
        |       | the set, but it’s airy Hip-Hop bounce makes   |       |
        |       | you wish there was a brighter name for        |       |
        |       | numbers like this. “Nothing Personal” finds   |       |
        |       | Polar revisiting that epic drum & bass        |       |
        |       | flavour, giving fans a real moody, brooding   |       |
        |       | ride, while cuts like “High Voltage” play the |       |
        |       | antithesis, with a lighter, more uplifting    |       |
        |       | vibe about them, all still sounding           |       |
        |       | reminiscent of everything you came to love    |       |
        |       | about Polar. “3 Liter” marries hectic harp    |       |
        |       | samples with luscious tones and sombre keys,  |       |
        |       | whereas tracks like “Uneven” sounds like the  |       |
        |       | marching theme that would play underneath the |       |
        |       | cyborg revolt of tomorrow. In the end, Polar  |       |
        |       | has taken time off, but comes back with tunes |       |
        |       | that are every bit as deep as his previous    |       |
        |       | work, alongside with some new tricks and      |       |
        |       | hidden gems that continue to build on the     |       |
        |       | legacy he created with his storied catalogue. |       |
        |       | Followers of the sound have already sung      |       |
        |       | praises of his return to form, and those who  |       |
        |       | want to really see how our scene can cook,    |       |
        |       | turn on some Polar and colour yourselves      |       |
