Победила на конкурсе талантов, исполнив песню «Those Were The Days» своей землячки Мэри Хопкин. Благодаря необычно мощному голосу ее выбрали из нескольких сотен подростков в группу BOBBY WAYNE AND THE DIXIES, а через два года она уже собрала свою команду MUMBLES (позже IMAGINATION), с которой выступала в клубах и пабах. Взяв псевдоним Бонни Тайлер, она полностью посвятила себя музыке.
В 1975 на «RCA Records» Бонни записала дебютный сингл «My Honey», который, однако, успеха не имел. Это была чуть ли не единственная сохранившаяся песня, на которой голос Бонни имел свой природный тембр (без хрипотцы). В 1976 ей была проведена операция на гортани (при обследовании нашли узелковые утолщения). Операция прошла успешно, если не считать того, что Бонни стала петь почти как Род Стюарт, хотя ей больше нравилось сравнение с Тиной Тернер.
В 1977 новая Бонни предстала перед слушателями со своим дебютным альбомом «The World Starts Tonight», после чего впервые уехала гастролировать за пределы Великобритании. Сингл «It’s Heartache» с ее второго альбома «Natural Force» занял четвертое место в Великобритании и долгое время возглавлял чарты по всей Европе. Альбом разошелся фантастическим 6-миллионным тиражом по всему миру (это рекорд в дискографии Тайлер).
В начале 1982, после двух менее успешных альбомов и нескольких невзрачных синглов, Тайлер решила сменить лейбл и нашла нового продюсера — Джима Стейнмена, написавшего для MEAT LOAF его блокбастер «Bat Out Of Hell».
Альбом «Faster Than The Speed Of Night» (1983), как и его предшественники, был насыщен кавер-версиями классики рока, но в основном представлял песни Стейнмена, сделавшего в них упор на яркий запоминающийся вокал Бонни. Первый же 7-минутный сингл из этого альбома, «Total Eclipse Of The Heart», через месяц после своего появления сумел потеснить знаменитую Billie Jean Майкла Джексона с вершин европейских и американских чартов. Было продано 5 млн. копий. Сам альбом также побывал на первом месте во многих странах, и Бонни стала второй женщиной после Кейт Буш, чей альбом возглавил британский хит-парад.
Следующий альбом «Secret Dreams And Forbidden Fire», появившийся только в 1986, продавался намного хуже своего предшественника и не был отмечен ни критиками, ни публикой.
Между тем Тайлер исполнила несколько песен для кинофильмов (в том числе песню Джорджио Мородера «Here She Comes», написанную им для Донны Саммер и прозвучавшую в фильме «Metropolis», и «Holding Out For Hero» в «Footlose»).
Следующий альбом Тайлер записала в Америке с Десмондом Чайлдом. Альбом получился неплохим, но из-за слабой рекламы большого успеха не было. Тайлер исчезла из виду без малого на два года. В 1991 вернулась с новым альбомом «Bitterblue», выпущенным на немецком лейбле «Hansa/BMG». Песни для него написали Джорджио Мородер, Ник Кершоу, Гарольд Фальтермайер и Дитер Болен. В Великобритании этот и два последующих альбома не выходили (Дитер Болен написал для Тайлер еще два альбома, не получившие большой известности).
В 1995 Тайлер вернулась на родину с серией концертов и заключила контракт с лейблами «East West Records» в Европе и с «Atlantic Records» в США. Ее новый альбом «Free Spirit», спродюсированный Стейнменом, был выдержан в привычном для Тайлер стиле, однако продажи были невелики, но Бонни не пала духом и в 1998 выпустила «All In One Voice», первым синглом с которого стала песня «Live For Love», исполненная Бонни в дуэте с Андреа Бочелли.

Все релизы в 320kbps кроме отмеченных* , получены путём конвертации из LOSSLESS, выполненная при помощи foobar2000+lame 3.99.5; альбомы с низким битрейтом собраны в сети. Треки имеют адекватные тэги, обложки вшиты.
