"Per Inciso" is the first album of the vocalist and songwriter Valentina Gramazio. The work, published by Jazzy Records, offers nine tracks (eight of which are composed of the same Valentina) that recall the best traditions of the standard american jazz, but with Italian lyrics and arrangements that fade in pop. A project without labels, stylistic to an audience open to the melody, to the lyrics brilliant, to the proposals of quality music.
Jazz vocalist, songwriter, creative advertising, and independent record: Valentina Gramazio is a singular figure of the Italian music scene, and "incidentally" tells the story of his personality and his artistic path. As an experienced copywriter who knows how to “give you” the words, Valentina has chosen as the title of his debut album a little pun that contains multiple meanings: "incidentally" because the music is a parenthesis important (in fact, by the way) in his career of advertising; "By the way" because it is a declaration of love to the music engraved in the hall of the recording disk; and, finally, because the music is closely related to a project and artistic engravings.
The project bears the signature of one of the most representative figures of the Italian jazz pianist and composer Giovanni Mazzarino, who took care of the arrangements and is the author of the splendid “Piazza”, on which the melody, Valentina has supported a dense text of nostalgia and pathos.
