Moving on from the Intro Track, you will be able to start conversations and meet local people by introducing yourself, telling them how much spanish that you know, and tell Spanish speaking people where you come from!
Audio Track 3 (24 min):
In this lesson, Mauricio and I will lead you through how to ask for what you want, need, or would like in Spanish. These words and phrases are incredibly important when you’re traveling abroad. You’ll use these words to order at a restaurant, to ask for help, and to express what you want to do.
Audio Track 4 (21 min):
We begin this lesson by practicing a few conversations to reinforce the vocabulary that we covered in the previous 3 lessons. Then you’ll learn about polite expressions. Polite expressions include words like, “I’m sorry,” “Excuse me,” and “You’re welcome.”
Audio Track 5 (15 min):
Need to book a hotel room on your travels? Want to find out about the amenities first? Find out about cost, single rooms, double rooms, bathrooms, breakfast included, etc. Track 5 of the Rocket Spanish Interactive Audio Course shows you how!
Audio Track 6 (28 min):
In this lesson you'll get to find out how to ask for someone's phone num-ber... very handy if you're single! You'll learn to ask more questions that you'd ask someone before getting their number.
Audio Track 7 (22 min):
You’ll learn everything you need to know about how to tell the time and date, and how to communicate them in conversations.
Audio Track 8 (22 min):

Audio Track 9 (19 min):
You’ll learn and practice in conversation where you or someone else is going. The verb “to go” is one of the most useful in Spanish. You can use it to express everything including what you’re going to do to, where you’re going to, and how you’re going to get there.
Audio Track 10 (32 min):
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask basic questions like, “Who? What? When? Where? and How? in Spanish. You’ll also get to practice them in a variety of conversations.
Audio Track 11 (25 min):
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask for and understand directions. Being able to ask for directions is so important when you’re traveling. The problem that many people find is that once they ask for directions, they can’t understand this answer! So, in this lesson, you’ll also learn how to ask people to speak more slowly and repeat what they’ve just said.
Audio Track 12 (21 min):
In this section of the course you’re going to learn how to describe things, such as how you feel and the weather. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to describe people. Is someone short or tall? Blond or brunette? Physical descriptions can be useful, so listen to the conversation that follows.
Audio Track 13 (21 min):
In this lesson, you’re going to learn how to expand a bit further on your answer to the question, ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?) Right now, you only really know how to tell someone that you’re well. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to say that you’re happy, you’re tired, you’re busy, and more!
Audio Track 14 (27 min):
In this lesson, you’re going to learn how to plan for the weather. You’ll get to master a conversation in which Mauricio and I are planning a trip to the beach, but we’re not sure if the weather forecast is for rain.
Audio Track 15 (26 min):
In this lesson, you’re going to learn a more about how to talk about what is yours and what belongs to someone else. You already know several of these words: the words for “your” and “my”, but you’ll need to know how the vocabulary changes in formal and informal situations. There are also other situations in which you’re going to need to talk about what belongs to whom. For example, how do you say that the car belongs to your friend, or that the suitcase isn’t yours but your husband’s?
Audio Track 16 (24 min):
In this lesson, you’re going to learn the basics of shopping. You’ll learn how to ask for what you want, how to ask how much it is, and how to pay for your new purchase!
Audio Track 17 (21 min):
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to bargain, explain that something’s too expensive, and how to explain that you’re buying something for a friend. In many Andean countries, bargaining is a way of life. Especially in traditional open-air markets, bargaining is expected!
Audio Track 18 (29 min):
If you’re travelling to a Spanish-speaking country, there’s nothing more useful than knowing how to get a room. You already know several useful phrases for this situation such as, “How much does it cost?” and “I want to pay by cash or credit.” In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask if a hotel offers free breakfast, if the rooms include en-suite bathrooms, and how to make sure that your room has hot water
Audio Track 19 (23 min):
Discover how to order food and drink in a restaurant. This includes asking for recommendations, asking your friend what they prefer and more. Like the hotel example last lesson, this lesson will teach you practical, real-world phrases that you’ll use over and over again.
Audio Track 20 (26 min):
In this lesson, en esta lección, you’re going to learn about one of the most basic parts of shopping: how explain to a shopkeeper that you want this one, not that one. It’s not as easy as you may think. When you’re flustered, the word esto can get easily confused with eso. By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to point to exactly the item you want and say, “I want that one!”
Audio Track 21 (27 min):
In this lesson, you’re going to learn about how to plan for a party! You’ll practise a conversation along with us where it’s Amy’s little brother’s birthday, and she’s inviting Mauricio along. You’ll get to learn more about how to talk about family members in Spanish as well.
Audio Track 22 (25 min):
In this lesson you’ll discover how to set up a time for any kind of date or appointment. You’re going to build on what you already know about dates and telling the time. You’ll also learn how to ask what someone needs help with, and you’ll be able to understand when a porter asks you if you need help with your bags.
Audio Track 23 (25 min):
In this lesson, you’ll learn to ask what you should bring to a party and some common party games and prizes. You’ll find out how to ask for needs more information (and understand the responses you may hear).
Audio Track 24 (27 min):
One of the most important parts of any birthday party is giving gifts. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask what a person wants and offer suggestions about what to give them.
Audio Track 25 (24 min):
In this lesson you’ll get to learn a lot of useful things to say when you or someone else is running late, such as how far away you are, how to ask if the other person is on their way, asking how the party is, how to say you’ll be there in 10 minutes, asking someone to wait for you and more!
Audio Track 26 (26 min):
In this section of the course, you’ll learn how to strike up a conversation with a stranger. You already know some of the basic questions you’ll hear when you’re starting a conversation: “What’s your name? Where are you from? How old are you? Are you single or married?”
These questions exchange personal information but don’t really get a con-versation going. One of the best ways to get a conversation going is to find some common ground, like whether you have mutual acquaintances, whether you’ve been to the same places, or whether you like to do the same things. In this section of the course, you’re going to learn how to ask all of those things. It’s amazing how much more of a conversation you can have when you know a little more Spanish!
Audio Track 27 (26 min):
In this lesson, I return to the bar for my usual, and Mauricio and I chat about our favorite hobbies. You already know one of my hobbies: me gusta bucear, or I like scuba-diving. What are my new bartender friend’s hobbies? You’ll find out in the conversation we practice in this lesson. By now, your Spanish should be strong enough to feel comfortable with having more in-depth conversations.
Audio Track 28 (28 min):
In this lesson you’ll learn how to use reflexive verbs. With reflexive verbs, the subject performs the action on itself. So you'll learn how to say things like "I'm sick" or "I'm having a shower".
Audio Track 29 (27 min):
In this section of the course, you’re going to learn some of the basic conversational skills you’ll need when you get to know people a bit better. Maybe you’re living with a host family, or maybe one of your new Spanish friends has invited you home to meet their family. In this conversation, you’re going to learn what to do when you’re introduced to someone’s family. Much of this information may be familiar to you already, but if you can master introductions you’ll leave people with an excellent first impression!
Audio Track 30: (24 min):
Family life everywhere is full of arguments about who has to do what and whose fault it is that something isn’t done. In this lesson you’ll practice a conversation involving an argument over who has to do the chores.
Audio Track 31: (27 min):
In this lesson, you’ll learn what Mauricio’s greatest dream is, the problems with travelling alone, and how to talk about what always and never happens. You’ll also get to practice a lot of the vocabulary that we’ve covered in previous lessons..

P.S. Remember, If YOU Want to Improve Your Spanish And Speak Confidently and Naturally in Less Than 8 Weeks Then Rocket Spanish is For YOU!
