Структура учебников предполагает изучение основных литературных понятий по жанрам: анализ фантастики, поэзии, прозы, драматургии, а также средств массовой информации. Для русскоговорящих студентов эти учебники - кладезь текстов для пополнения словарного запаса и расширения кругозора.
Помимо этого в коллекцию входят учебники по биологии, истории, географии и культурологии.
В учебниках по истории рассматриваются Древний мир, Средневековье, современность, преемственность цивилизаций и культур. Учебники содержат последние данные по хронологии, интересные факты истории, иллюстрации и описания артефактов, а также интересные статистические данные.
Отдельно от всех стоит учебник истории Америки.
Учебник Географии написан в контексте культурных достижений той или иной страны. Статьи об особенностях географического положения, климата, экономики или демографии стран перемежаются описаниями национальных традиций и культурных особенностей.
Учебник Биологии... т.к. Биология - моя слабость, я просидела за ним не один час. Очень подробные схемы, красочные иллюстрации и конечно же статьи в ключе последних научных достижений изучаемой области.
К великому сожалению, в учебниках литературы не все тексты в наличии. Редко, но встречаются белые рамки с текстом "Текст не для электронного использования. Пожалуйста, обратитесь к тексту учебника". Почему то McDougal Littell решил не включать их в PDF-версию учебника. Но это не делает учебники менее интересными или менее ценными, т.к. слава богу, пустые рамки встречаются редко.lelja555 (c).
