Groundhogs - британская рок-группа, образовавшаяся в конце 1963 года и исполнявшая с

конца 1960-х годов - тяжёлый блюз-рок с элементами прогрессивного и психоделического

рока. Частенько выступая с концертами, ансамбль завоевал достаточную популярность в

блюзовых кругах, а однажды парням выпала честь сопровождать Джона Ли Хукера в его

британском турне. Музыкант в одном из интервью назвал "Groundhogs" британской блюзовой

командой № 1, а в 1965-м пригласил группу для записи своего сольного альбома,

выпущенного впоследствии под названием "Hooker & the Hogs".

В данный тройник вошли все работы группы записанные на студии United Artists, а именно:

альбомы "Hogwash" (1972), "Crosscut Saw" (1976) и "Black Diamond" (1976), а так же два

лондонских концерта 1972-го и 1974-го годов.
