This album is an oddity, it is a mellower progressive metal release packed with melody, an array of keyboards, crisp guitars, and long winding epics. The CD title is "Oceans". This is illustrated lyrically and musically.

The instrumentalists shine on here and we also get saxophones and other various instruments among the vast amount of keyboard sounds. Jioti Parcharidis has a good and mellow voice. At times it can be monotonous but it is vital in keeping a trance-like feel to the album. The vocal melodies and harmonies seem very well laid out. Though it is for the most part mellow there are a few heavy parts including some in the song "Forest Rain". The instrumental on here, "Door To December" is one of the best instrumentals I've ever heard on a prog release.

The songs found on here twist and wind, and yet progress, flowing like an ocean current. There are also plenty of good riffs scattered through the prevalent keyboard and guitar melodies. Most of these songs are pretty slow and epic only picking up a few times but as the whole this is an album you can immerse yourself into.

Overall, this is a rare find but if you find it on disc or mp3 it is well worth the effort because it is a marvelous slab of progressive metal.
