#777GRAND BITE is a heavy metal band original formed in 1980 by Luis Miguel Perez (bass, lead vocals), Andres Guzman (guitar, vocals) and Enrique de Gregorio (drums, vocals). In the big moment of heavy movement worldwide, something’s characteristic of the 80s, GRAND BITE like other groups of the moment would be one of the best exponents of Venezuela before the Saxon invasion, enjoying since their beginning of immediately acceptance between the fans thanks to the lot of shows that they offer in our country, being one of the most memorable "First National Rock Festival" held in the Poliedro de Caracas in 1981.

In 1985, after editing a demo of four songs from a year earlier, Grand Bite released independently an album entitled “Al Borde del Precipicio” (1985). Luis M. Perez quits the band in 1987 and enter Luis Ignacio Contreras (bass) and Gianni Regnicoli (lead vocals, keyboards). Released the album “Todos Hasta el Final” (1990). New changes occur in the fall 1991 group and Carlos Istúriz (bass) and Elpidio Maradei (voice).

Early in 1995 enters as a guitar player Gregory Carrero, from this moment the band have two guitars in their line up. In 1996 there are new changes and the group is composed of Ruben Dario Perez (vocals), Alciro Valentines (bass), Andres Guzman (guitar) and Henrique De Gregorio (drums) and released their third record: “No Morire” (1998).

In 2000 left the band Rubén Darío Pérez y Alciro Valentines. The band takes a break, while this time of break the guitarist Andrés Guzmán record his first solo album, “Guandel” (2001), recorded and produced entirely by him. The line up changes continued, for 2002 returns and Luis Ignacio Contreras (bass), who came to play with the legendary progressive rock group “Ficción”, in her debut “Sobre el Abismo”, released by Musea Records (France 2002), and adds José Luis Hernandez (guitar), coming from the band Boanerges and Joseph De Luca (vocals), who shared with the band “Ramsek”, keeping Enrique de Gregorio on drums and Andrez Guzman on guitar. With this line up presents an EP with two songs in 2004. A year after they realeased a new album entitled “Profetas del Fin” (2005).

In 2006 a ne CD is released “Al Borde del Precipicio / No Moriré” by the Label Ariah Records, which includes the first and third album of the band.

In 2009 leaves the sticks Enrique De Gregorio, one of the founders of the group and enters in his place Juan C. Figueroa, renowned musician participation in the national rock scene, which has passed through size groupings Fray, Distrust, Biophobia, Natastor and Stratuz, among other projects.

A band that began as a trio 30 years ago, many changes, a founding member always in the band and with five albums in their backs, all this talks a bit about the history and importance GRAND BITE in the Venezuelan heavy metal and Latin America in general .

In 2010 began with high expectations, what begins in 2009 as a hard work at music, eventually becomes the new album from Grand Bite "La Sombra”, his sixth album in the face new changing times, a breakthrough in the career of this group, the answer to all his fans were waiting.
