Немецкая группа Sylvan (Силван, Сильван - не путать с Сильваном (David Sylvian) играет очень приятный нео-прогрессив (neo-progressive rock) рок. В музыке группы чувствуется влияние Pink Floyd, Marillion, Genesis и других адептов прогрессив-рока.
История группы началась осенью 1990 года под названием Chameleon (Хамелеон, символ изменчивости, представляющий длительные инструментальные партии группы). Они сделали несколько демо-записей и прочих неудачных релизов, в итоге большинство песен были выпущены в 1998 году на альбоме "Deliverance" уже под именем Sylvan...
