The first version had only the 4 tracks shown here (late summer'84), which included a live version of Evil Dead taken from their first live demo. Shortly after its release
Mantas stopped selling the demo, and it was replaced by the 5 track version of Death By Metal, which is commonly known to be the official version of Death By Metal. The cover shown here is taken from that version and the tracklist is as follows:

The first demo originally released by Death. There are several versions of this demo. The one displayed in the picture is professionally made and came with a black tape. (As can be seen in the picture, some versions of the demo included an interview, and not "Slaughterhouse".) There is also a special "Fan Club Version" that includes, after "Summoned to Die", a track called simply "Instrumental". It was later retitled "Zombie Attack", and was part of the live setlist for a while. There is also another edition that has a bonus live set from a show in October 1984 (cover of this version: http://a404.idata.over-blog.com/500x375/0/14/47/40/Demo/Death---Cover-copie-1.jpg).
There is a bootleg release of this demo by Made in Hell Records on 7" vinyl, limited to 333 copies.

Scream Bloody Gore was actually first recorded in Florida, though as Death was unsatisfied after hearing the initial rhythm tracks, they travelled to Hollywood to record it again with Randy Burns, which are the recordings that made the album. However, the incomplete first sessions were still locally used as a demo tape once they returned to Florida.
This also marks the final time the Mantas & Death live staple Legion Of Doom would ever be played.

Итак. Благодаря iluabzu мной были обретены довольно интересные редкости, коими спешу поделиться со всеми. Взял на себя ответственность по распределению и сортировке дэмок/репетиций, результат пред вами. Спешу заметить, что моя нумерация "хх - год - релиз" ни в коем случае не является официальной, а лишь служит для упорядочения релизов в папке. Судя по датам (если имеется) и выходам новых треков постарался как можно вернее раскидать релизы по порядку.
При составлении раздачи в основном опирался на архивы

. Аннотации взяты оттуда же и кое-где (где нужно) добавлена отсебятина в качестве пояснения. Значком (-) отмечены релизы, отличающиеся от описанных на архивах либо вовсе не представленные там же.
Господа, давайте общими усилиями постараемся приблизиться к истине и распределить рехерсалы и дэмки по порядку, а также степень их правдивости существования. Все замечания, пояснения, пожелания, просто мысли высказывайте в комментах - будем корректировать раздачу.
